개요

• 국내 최대 COPD 환자군 레지스트리 (Korea COPD Subgroup Study; KOCOSS)는 COPD 악화 방지 및 중재 기술 개발을 위한 국가 연구체계를 마련하고, 국내 연구자들의 COPD 연구 활성화 및 고도화에 기여하고자 합니다.

추진 경과

• 전국 55개 병원 및 학회, 호흡기 임상 전문가로 구성된 다기관 네트워크를 구성하였으며 2016년부터 2023년까지 약 2,800여명의 COPD 환자들을 등록 및 추적관찰 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
• COPD 레지스트리에서는 수집된 임상·역학 자료를 이용하여 COPD 아형 및 고위험군 분석, COPD 발생 및 진행 예측의 생체 지표 발굴, 해외 COPD 코호트와의 협업을 진행하고 있습니다.
  

주요 성과

• 환자의 흡인 스테로이드 치료 효과 및 악화 예측 인자 규명, 동서양 COPD 환자 특징 차이 등의 논문을 발표하였습니다.
