개요

• 65세이상 노인의 치매 유병률은 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 현재까지 치매를 치료하는 치료제는 없으나 조기발견을 통해 병의 진행을 지연시킬수 있어 조기진단, 예후예측 등이 중요하며 이를 위해 장기간 추적관찰을 통한 고도화된 치매 연구기반 마련이 필요합니다 (다부처 치매극복연구개발사업과 연계추진).

추진 경과

• 2021년부터 65세이상 치매환자 및 인지기능장애 환자를 유형별 (알츠하이머 치매, 혈관성 치매, 루이소체 치매)로 분류하여 역학·임상정보, 정밀신경심리검사, 뇌영상자료 (MRI, 아밀로이드-PET), 유전체자료 (WGS), 인체자원 (serum, plasma, DNA, PBMC) 등을 수집하고 질 관리를 수행하고 있습니다 (’23.12.현재). 수집된 임상정보 및 인체자원 등은 과제 종료후 국립중앙인체자원은행에 기탁될 예정입니다.
• 16개 기관에서 총 646명 규모의 기반조사 참여자가 등록되었으며 추적조사 (1년 단위)를 진행하고 있습니다.
  

주요 성과

• 코호트 자료를 활용하여 조기진단, 감별진단, 예후 예측, 전주기 진행경과 예측모델 개발 등 질환관리 연구를 수행하고 있으며 30건의 SCI(E) 논문이 게재되었습니다.
