HIV/AIDS Cohort Study

The Korea HIV/AIDS cohort study was established in 2006. Epidemiological and clinical information was collected using standardized case report forms, and cohort staff were periodically educated on their use of these forms. As of 2015, 925 HIV-infected individuals have
been registered and followed every 6 months. In addition, 8,010 samples have been deposited in the Biobank, with paired data deposited, and a community forum has been added to the database to facilitate active communication among staff. HIV/AIDS research using cohort samples or data will be performed according to the publication policy and procedures outlined for the study.
